Antibacterial essential oils in our products

Antibacterial is a word we are all familiar with but is more important than ever before now, and in our future. With our natural skincare in mind, we wanted to share some guidance on the use of some of our products that will benefit us all at this time to naturally cleanse, with the antibacterial properties of essential oils.

Many of our range are multi purposeful products. As well as our awakening hand wash, it is also perfectly safe and effective to use our awakening body wash, awakening shampoo and facial wash to thoroughly wash hands.

The below specific essential oils within these products, are naturally antibacterial cleansing. 

Grapefruit as a citrus oil it has been known to have antiseptic properties and can help to reduce oily skin, due to its astringent properties. It has been known to help reduce water retention and can also work as a natural deodorant due to its uplifting citrus aroma.

Tangerine is another citrus oil that has been known to have antiseptic properties and has a high antioxidant content which helps to protect the skin against free radicals, it has also been known to have a soothing aroma which can help relieve the symptoms of insomnia. It is also a good source of vitamin A, which can help to heal wounded and damaged skin.

Rosemary has been known to have antiseptic properties, as a well as astringent properties, which can help to cleanse and tone the skin.

Peppermint has a fresh and uplifting aroma. It has been known to brighten skin, due to the menthol content in the oil, it has also been known to shrink larger pores due to its astringent properties, as well as reduce skin inflammation. It has also been known to have antiseptic properties.

Petitgrain has been known to have anti-septic and antispasmodic properties, which can help to keep the skin clean and calm.

Lemongrass can work to reduce oil skin, due to its natural astringent properties, it works as a natural deodorant, and has antibacterial properties. It can also help to reduce puffy skin as it has diuretic properties.
