Gut Feelings

Gut Feelings

What we eat not only affects us physically but our mental state of mind and behaviours in everything we do. Our gut health and diet can positively or negatively affect our mood.

The science is that 90% of serotonin receptors are located in the gut, that literally feed the brain.

‘One cannot think well, love well and sleep well, if one has not dined well’ – Virginia Woolf

A perfect example of eating well to reflect how it makes you feel is the signature Spatisserie menu at Gaia Skincare’s flagship spa to complement our range of blends. An awakening, balancing and calming themed menu to see you through breakfast, brunch and late lunch.

Why not keep a food diary to monitor your thoughts and feelings, before and after your meals?
